And in a twist in my anime lanters... Optimus Prime (if it's any consolation, there is a japanese version of the transformers...)

He died... and then came back to life, and the died again...
the came back to life, then died again
It seems like almost EVERY incarnation of Optimus Prime, HAS DIED one way or the other.
And Nekron ain't so pleased about it.

And yes... there is almost no difference to Nemesis Prime or his Dead Matrix...

I'm not concerned, his better programing shined through before it will again. This isn't the first time he's been a zombie *Dark Awakening did it first*. Then when Rodimus reviels the Matrix it's holy power will destroy the black ring after BL Optimus throughly beats him because he dosen't want to fight his idol.
BL Optimus: It's time for you to join us Rodimus.*As he reaches for Rodimus's spark the matrix shines on him* AAAAAAAAAAAAAG
Rodimus: *to the matrix* Elders, please shine your wisedom....
BL Optimus: NOOOOOOOO*he tries to grab it* Aaaaaaaagggggggg
BL Ring: Warning: White light of life detected
Rodimus: Primus help me release the body of our leader from this living death!*A white ring flies out of the Matrix as the entity of white light takes Hal Jordan as a host*
WL Ring: Orian Pax of Cybertron, Live*it lands on his finger*
BL Optimus: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG*He throws out the dead matrix and he's resurrected*
Rodimus: P-Prime?
Optimus: Rodimus....thank you
Rodimus: The Matrix*gose to hand it to him*
Optimus: No, you'll need it more then I now Rodimus. *The dead Matrix flies off to the other BL Autobots and Decepticons and possesses Ironhide* We have alot of work to do and Transformers to free TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT*They transform to "The Touch" and roll out to meet the undead Transformers head on*

yes.. i know...
And as mentioned before, one of the version of Nemesis primes was a prallel universe "zombified" (used loosely here) Optimus prime with an evil version of the matrix.

Also.. note the ring is not on Optimus, but IN the matrix

Great now I'm just imagining him at the head of all the transformers who died in the first twenty minutes of the G1 transformers movie from the 80's.

It is both horrific and awesome to contemplate.

Besides it won't be the first time someone has used Zombie-Optimus for evil. and he wasn't nearly as awesome then.

if it's any consolation... one of Nemesis Prime's incarnation was a defeated optimus prime from a parallel universe. His spark was tortured by Unicron to the point of unable to distinguish pain from pleasure. And yes.. that did include the Matrix of leadership, which was called the "Dead Matrix"
